The Council invites applications for Project Grants throughout the year, and sometimes, through advertisements on its website www.icpr.in as well as by sending the circulars to the heads of philosophy departments of the universities in the country.

Translation project
India is a country of multiple languages. Besides Hindi and English there are 20 recognised regional languages (as per 8th Schedule of the Constitution of India) and most of them are treasure troves of valuable
texts on Philosophy. ICPR is willing to make translations of such valuable texts in to Hindi or English and therefore,ICPR invites proposals for Research project for:-
Translation of Important Philosophical Texts in Bharatiya Bhashas into Hindi and English of the following texts-
Original and important texts,like
1.Nyaya Darshan (In Bangla)(4 volumes) by Phanibhushan Tarkavagish , into Hindi and English
2. Bange Navya Charchha(In Bangla),by Dinesh Chandra Bhattacharya, into Hindi and English
3. Vaibhavikdharshanam,by Anant kumar Tark Teerath Bhattacharya, into
Hindi and English.
4. Proposals are also invited for translation of other important works on Philosophy in Indian languages.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply for translation mentioning any one of the above text either in Hindi or English.
