Prof. Rajaneesh kumar Shukla is presently working as Member Secretary of Indian Council of philosophical Research Council New Delhi. Basically he is a Professor of Comparative Philosophy and Religion in Samapurnananda Sanskrit University, Varanasi. Simultaneously, he a President nominated Court member of Banaras Hindu University. Herewith, he is contributing in restructuring and reformation of Higher Education as a Member, Haryana State Education Advisory Board and Member of Advisory council of Varanasi Region of Indira Gandhi National Center of Art, New Delhi.

He has completed his graduate and post graduate degree from MGKVP, Varanasi and Ph.D in Philosophy from BHU.

He is teaching philosophy and religion in Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi since 1991. He has been Head of department for three tenures of three years. He was Dean of faculty of Philosophy Faculty. .

Prof. Shukla has written seven books and more than hundred research papers, articles of are published in different journals country and abroad.

He served his university as Registrar, Executive Council Member and Director, College Development Council and in other several positions.

Prof. Rajaneesh Kumar Shukla has credit to produce a programme for Graduate level  named “ RASHTRA GOURAVA” a mandatory programme at UG degree of all state universities of UP. He has edited and written a book “RASHTRA GOURAVA “ also which is published by several universities namely Lucknow University.

He has been Chief Editor of DARSHANIKA TRAIMASIKA, A Quarterly Journal of Akhila Bharatiya Darshana Parishad (ABDP) for 5 Years and joint secretary of ABDP.

He writes articles and columns in several news papers like, Dainik Jagaran, Amar Ujala, Navabharat Times and Rashtriya Sahara on culture, religion and education.

Its also notable that he is a member of committee for establishment of First state University of Sikkim and Secretary of Acharya Abhinavagupta Millennium Year Celebration Committee.
