Bio-Data of Professor R.P. Singh Dr. R.P. Singh, Ph. D.,  is presently working as a Professor in School of Social Sciences, Centre for Philosophy,  Jawharlal  Nehru University, New Delhi.  He is having 26 years of research and teaching experience in the areas of Philosophy.  His areas of interest and specialisation includes  German Idealism, Postmodernity, Consciousness Studies, Studies in Ethics, Civilizational Studies, Upanishads, Vedanta , Buddhism, Human Right, Multiculturalism,Globalization, etc., and his research methodologies includes Dialectics, Scepticism, Foundationalism/ Antifoundationalism, Hermeneutics- Indian and Western,  and Deconstruction.

He has been awarded International Plato Award by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, University, London, UK in 2011; Twice awarded Man of the Year2001 & 2004,   by American Biographical Institute, USA and honoured Marquis Who’s Who in the World 2009 for valuable contribution in the field of education and 100 Outstanding Intellectuals of 21st Centuryby International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, University, London, UK in 2010 edition.

He has been published 125 articles and 16 publications.
